What starts out like an ordinary music video suddenly turns into a fiasco. I wrote a treatment about a shoot gone wrong, and then it rained all morning and we had no choice but to start shooting anyway. The girls were good sports. The controlled chaos of the accident was exhilarating. The desperation of the “director” to keep going — very funny. I especially love the shot of the “producer” ordering the models to get back on the wall after one of the girls has been carted away in an ambulance. “Get back up there! I don’t care if you’re terrified!” The look on her face as she realizes perhaps she should have hired real climbers. She was played by my casting director Melissa Cassin.
Actually, the whole Stir album is great. Great shooting here by Marc Laliberte Else.
